Merci Concept Store

Merci Concept Store Image

Imagine a one-stop shop for creative designs and delicious eats. That’s Merci. Located on the fringe of the Marais at 111 boulevard Beaumarchais, this treasure trove of a concept store is approached with a sense of sophisticated whimsy and childlike intrigue. Not only will you find one-of-a-kind furniture, design home décor, clothing, jewelry and beauty products in this large boutique, they also have three (yes, three) different cafés each with delicious, fresh cuisine. There is nothing quite like it.

Merci

Merci

I love wandering between their dining arrangements on the top floor where they have my dream love seat and my dream dining table cast in a hue of perfect natural lighting. But no matter how many wonderful treasures I discover each time I wander passed their iconic vintage red FIAT 500, I always find myself lost in a maze of brightly colored linens. Oh, the linen! It’s airy and rustic. Weighted yet light. Crisp yet soft. And it’s my dream to wake up each morning swallowed in layers of their French linen.

Merci

Merci’s 100% linen is made in the Northeastern Regions of France. The colors range from bright to sludgy pastels to earthy neutrals. I’m torn between the grey’s and the sandstone, colors that represent, to me, the city of Paris. If you are thinking you have to be in Paris to select your perfect shade, then you haven’t heard that they are now available at Merci’s recently launched online store. With international shipping available. I haven’t taken the plunge myself (I blame the bedsizes in cm), but I can’t wait to bring home my French linen duvet and sheets for an eternity of Parisian slumbers.

Are you in love with French Linen too? Which color would you choose?

One of my favorite stores! I’ve purchased a few things especially gifts before the holidays. I love that not everything they have is too expensive.

Quite a coincidence! Yesterday I picked up a copy of Victoria magazine, which I never read, because this issue is all about France). One article is about this shop, Merci. I wanted to find it online but googling “merci” is like googling “thanks” and there was no web url in the story. Just after reading the article I opened your email and there was the link! I’ll be staying in that part of Paris later this year. Can’t wait to discover this lovely shop for myself. Thanks! or should I say, Merci!

That is a coincidence! I’m happy I could help you find it! It’s such a fun store. Be sure to grab a bit or a cappuccino at one of their cafés while you’re in town!
